Japanese makes
Lexus, Toyota, and Honda are tied at the top of our photo log. RX 350s, Tacomas, Civics, and Odysseys are regulars, and Subaru WRX and Crosstrek owners come by often too.
European makes
Volkswagen Golfs and GTIs, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Range Rover Sports, and even a Bentley have been through our bay. They take the same state test.
Domestic trucks and SUVs
We see Ford pickups up to Super Duty size, Jeep Cherokees, and more. Diesel smog rules depend on the model year and weight rating, so call (657) 206-2767 ahead and we'll confirm whether we can test yours.
Hybrids
Lexus RX 450h, CT 200h, and Prius owners are frequent visitors. Hybrids are part of California's smog program, while fully electric vehicles don't need a smog check.
What to bring, how the visit goes, and what to do if your car doesn't pass are covered on our STAR smog check page.
